HEART SURGERY

Deported! I mean discharged!!

January 22, 2015

Getting discharged today! All my parts and progress are moving as they should and the improvements are measurable each day. I am so excited to be back home and start slowly stacking the bricks of full recovery.

I am immeasurably relieved to have this part of the experience over and even happier that everything went well.

I will miss sweating with athletic ferocity on the plastic mattress of my hospital bed. Kidding, I will not miss that all. Sorry about the sweat Toronto General hospital. Sorry about the sweat.

Made my day!! Fabulous news. Leave a bottle of Lysol for them to clean the sweaty plastic mattress. It’s the least you could do. Sending love and strength. Xo

Thankfully word on the (hospital) street is that the beds are steam cleaned. Trust me after my 5 day sweat streak they need a good steamy cleaning. 😉

Sending “Healing” thoughts from the Heart Sisters and Brothers at HVS community and congrats on getting to head home today beginning your road to recovery. From one who knows how excited you are at the thought of getting out of “Hospital” just 5 months ago Tracy “Be especially kind to your “sternum”
as it is the easiest thing to overlook in the excitement of being sprung from the hospital. Happy you have such wonderful support on hand as your Life moves forward. May your Heart be Happy!
