Not to be the praying mantis of Valentine’s Day merriments, but I do think that the celebration of love should be an every minute, every hour, every day festivity, and not just relegated to the singular, annual onslaughts of excessive pinks and reds used in a February bound advertising frenzy. My disdain for the obligatory Valentines Day seasonal decorations are second only to my contempt for Halloween seasonal decorations – pumpkins and gourds are food and should not be strewn about the place with decorative flare and reckless abandon. Also hanging skeletons, cobwebs and goblins everywhere is weird.
So on this ‘randomly’ selected day – and as I would on any other day of the year – I would like to think that you are showered with buckets of good vibes, overflowing wells of kindness, and the blessing of being loved, happy and satisfied from warm, syrupy heart shaped pancakes.
This is an extra special day to remember to be kind and caring always and to never treat others like a female praying mantis during mating season.
Happy February 14th, also 15th, 16th and every other day to follow.

I heart you friend…and share your sensible approach to this loathsome celebration of Hallmark fueled sentiment. Love everyday to the maximum and leave no heart untouched. Hope you are well and ramping back up to your awesome self.
Thank you friend!!! Screw Hallmark 😉
