I practice Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, today I got my first perfectly busted lip in class this morning, whilst vigorously being a stone cold ninja with my instructor, Carlos. It is remarkable to not only pay for, but to be so avidly keen on such early morning punishment by a sizeable man, who is excellent at making me pretzel shaped. I gave him a really sound thrashing and truly showed him who was boss…turns out he is boss and a ‘sound thrashing’ really looks a great deal like me getting my ass handed to me, almost quite literally, due to the contorting nature of the sport.
