(not so) Baby Face

Early on in the first few weeks of pregnancy, Claudine woke up to tell me about a ‘horrible nightmare’ that she had.

“I dreamed that the baby had your face”

“Well it might look like me” I said, not sure if to be offended by her calling this revelation a nightmare.

She then clarified and said that she dreamt she was holding the baby and it had my full sized adult human head and face on a tiny baby body.

We both agreed that this scenario would be traumatizing and horrific.
I hope our baby has a normal sized head with a face of its very own….
