We had our Fetal Cardiac Echocardiogram done today. Several revelations became clear in varying order of importance. They are as follows:
- SickKids Hospital might have the most unusual question I have ever encountered. (Are you related by blood to your baby’s father.) Ummm, What?!
- Claudine has a naked person inside of her body that neither of us has ever met! (Despite how technically creepy that is we are both consumed with excitement to meet this nude stowaway.)
- There were no signs of any deformities or cardiac illness inside those perfect, tiny heart chambers. (It did not inherit my gimp heart genes…)
- I am embracing the fact that I am going to be crippled with love for this new human.
